Yesterday, there was a long-awaited graduate school reunion. Good food, good people, good conversation—truly enjoyable. Honestly, when I entered graduate school, I didn’t anticipate these social gatherings, but now they’ve become my only personal gatherings, occurring about once a year. It’s just right for me.

The second tax audit has come up. It’s scheduled from May 1st to June 7th, and they notified us today, so the process seems to be moving quickly.

The company situation isn’t great, and now having to undergo a tax audit on top of it, my head is already pounding. I’m tired.

Should I perceive this situation positively? Not many people experience two tax audits in their lifetime. Should I just consider it an honor? How should I think of it in a positive light?

Above all, overcoming this is crucial. I need to persevere through everything and successfully navigate this tax audit simultaneously. That’s what’s necessary right now. Keep going.

[ 대학원 모임 ]

어제는 오랜만에 대학원 동기 모임이 있었다. 좋은 음식과 좋은 사람들, 좋은 대화, 참 즐겁다. 사실 대학원에 갈 때, 사람과의 만남을 생각하고 간 것은 아니었는데, 이제 유일한 내 사적 만남이 되었다. 1년에 한 번 정도. 나에게 딱 적당하다.

두 번째 세무조사가 나왔다. 5월 1일부터 6월 7일까지인데, 오늘 와서 사전 통지를 했으니, 진행이 빠르다.

회사 상황이 좋지 않은데, 세무조사까지 받아야 한다니, 벌써 머리가 지끈 지끈 아프다. 피곤하다.

이 상황을 긍정적으로 받아들여야 하나? 인생에 세무조사를 두 번이나 받는 사람은 많지 않을 것이다. 그냥 영광으로 생각할까? 어떻게 좋게 생각해야 하나?

무엇보다도 이겨내는 것이 중요하다. 모든 것을 지속하며, 동시에 세무 조사를 잘 이겨내야 한다. 지금은 그것이 필요하다. Keep going.
