[English] Long-awaited walking exercise
For the first time since last October, I went out for a walk. Daytime workouts have been focused on weight training, and with the cold weather of winter and more time spent working in the evenings and early mornings, it feels like I haven’t walked for about five months.

This time, I finally went for a walk because I felt my abdominal fat was getting too strong. The weather has cleared up, and once I start, I feel like I can keep going, so I think I’ll continue walking in the future. Even though it’s been a while since I walked, thanks to consistent weight training, my 92kg body feels light.

Walking gives me a lot of energy. It triggers what I call a “strange immersive meditation” effect. The desire for effort towards goals that seemed impossible ignites. It’s an enjoyable experience.

However, it’s a shame that the fine dust level was ‘very bad’ after I went out, even though it was ‘good’ when I left. Still, it’s Good!”

[Korean] 오랜만의 걷기 운동
지난 10월 이후에 처음으로, 걷기 운동을 하고 왔다. 낮 운동은 웨이트 트레이닝으로 집중되어 있고, 겨울이라서 날씨가 춥고, 밤과 새벽에 일을 하는 시간이 많아지면서, 5개월 정도를 걷지 않은 것 같다.

이번에는 복부의 지방이 너무 강하게 느껴져서 드디어 걷고 왔다. 날씨도 풀렸고, 한번 시작되면 계속해 나갈 수 있으니, 앞으로도 계속 걷게 될 것 같다. 오랜만에 걷기를 했음에도 꾸준한 웨이트 트레이닝 덕분에 92kg의 몸도 가볍게 느껴진다.

걷는 것은 큰 에너지를 준다. 내가 “묘한 몰입 명상”이라고 부르는 작용이 일어난다. 도저히 불가능할 것만 같은 목표에 대한 노력의 욕구가 불타오른다. 재미있는 일이다.

다만, 미세먼지가 “좋음”이어서 다녀왔는데, 다녀오고 보니 “매우 나쁨”이라는 것이 아쉽다. 그래도 Good!
