<The Three-Body Problem> is a Netflix original drama based on Liu Cixin’s novel of the same name, with screenplay by David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Alexander Woo, and David Benioff. Andrew Stanton directs the series. As of April 2024, Season 1 consisting of 8 episodes has been released.

<삼체>는 류츠신의 동명 원작을 기반으로 하며, 데이비드 베니오프, 데이비드 베니오프, D.B. 와이스, 알렉산더 우가 각본을 맡고, 앤드루 스탠튼이 연출을 맡은 넷플릭스 오리지널 드라마이다. 2024년 4월 현재 시즌1, 8부까지 나와있다.

에이사 곤살레스(오기/오거스티나 살라자르), 제스 홍(진 청), 조반 아데포(사울 듀랜드), 존 브래들리(잭 루니), 알렉스 샤프(윌리엄 다우닝), 로잘린드 차오(예원제), 조너선 프라이스(마이크 에반스), 말로 켈리(타티아나 하스), 세아 시모오카(지자), 리암 커닝햄(토마스 웨이드), 베네딕트 윙(클래런스 시) 등이 출연한다.

If you can overcome the initial brief dullness, you can witness an astonishing world. It’s an intriguing setting based on quantum mechanics and extraterrestrials. Although I haven’t read the original work, the universe it presents is tremendous. Thanks to the shift in focus from China to the UK in the screenplay, I personally find it even more enjoyable, and the screenplay is excellent. Additionally, the direction of Season 1 is superb. The actors’ performances are also commendable and fitting for their roles. It’s a flawless piece of work. I’m not sure if there are plans for Season 2, but if they continue this story for a few more seasons at this level of quality, it could become a remarkable masterpiece.

As China is not a democratic country, I think it’s better to portray democratic countries as the focus. Also, having actors of various races portraying the protagonists adds to the appeal.

Season 1 ended with Saul becoming a Wallfacer. They can see everything, but they cannot know what people are thinking. It’s an intriguing and excellent piece of work. I can’t predict how it will unfold, but I’m eagerly anticipating the next season. Great!

초반의 짧은 지루함을 이겨낼 수 있다면, 놀라운 세계를 볼 수 있다. 양자역학과 외계인을 기반으로 하는 재미있는 설정이다. 원작을 보지 못했지만, 원작이 물려준 세계관은 엄청나다. 중국에서 영국으로 중심이 바뀐 각본 덕분에 내가 보기에는 오히려 더 좋으며, 각본은 훌륭하다. 그리고 시즌1의 연출도 훌륭하다. 배우들의 연기도 좋고, 배역에 알맞다. 완벽한 작품이다. 시즌2의 계획이 있는지 모르겠지만, 몇 개의 시즌을 더 들여서 이 이야기를 이 수준의 퀄리티로 끝낼 수 있다면, 대단한 작품으로 남을 것 같다.

• 중국이 민주주의 국가가 아니기 때문에, 민주주의 국가를 중심으로 그리는 것이 좋다고 생각하는 것 뿐이다. 또 여러 인종이 주인공을 맡아서 더 좋기도 하다.

시즌1은 사울이 면벽자(Wallfacer)가 된 것으로 끝났다. 그들은 모든 것을 보지만, 생각하는 것은 알 수 없다니… 재미있고, 좋은 작품이다. 어떻게 풀어나갈지 알 수 없지만, 다음 시즌이 매우 기대된다. Great!
